                               READ ME FIRST
                               =============

    This version of Dr Solomon's FindVirus is for evaluation purposes only.
    It is NOT free, shareware or public domain.  The evaluation period for
    this version ends at 30th September 1997.  At that point the evaluation 
    period will have expired, and the program will no longer run.

    If you require longer to evaluate the product then we recommend that
    you download a more recent version of the evaluation software from
    the approved sites (see DISTRIB.TXT), as this will be more up-to-date
    and detect more viruses.

    If you are interested in purchasing the full commercial version of
    Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit (see TOOLKIT.TXT for more information)

    PROBLEMS FITTING FINDVIRUS ONTO A FLOPPY DISK?  As you'll see in
    the WHATSNEW file, we make two versions of FindVirus available -
    a standard version and a "lite" version.  The "Lite" version will
    fit on a floppy disk, but does not include support for scanning
    inside compressed and archived files or heuristic analysis.  That's
    because the "Lite" version leaves out the file FV386.EXE which
    contains this 32-bit functionality.  If you want to squeeze
    FindVirus onto a floppy and you're having difficulties, try leaving
    off FV386.EXE.

    An alternative method is to put the FindVirus driver files
    (FIND.DRV, NAMES.DRV, and REPAIR.DRV) on your hard disk.  You can
    then run FindVirus with a command-line similar to:

      FINDVIRU C: /DRIVER=C:\
